We run School Hoilday Intensive Swimming Classes at all of our venues,
to offer our pupils and the general public the opportunity to develop their swimming ability. A 30 min class each day for
one week is an ideal environment to jump a stage or two and improve confidence or distance swam. Technique will certainly
be improved and it is a great activity for the children who may be bored during school holidays.
Minnows to Sharks Swimming School has just won a major contract to run
School Holidays Intensive Swimming Lessons at Bancroft's School Woodford Green. We are very excited about this prospect and
proves our high quality and the excellent services we offer to be associated with such a prestigous School as Bancrofts.
During School Hoidays, the same as Term Time lessons, we offer the following classes, with a maximum if 6 pupils in the
class to one teacher:
Parent & Toddler - 19-36 months
Pre School 3-5 years
Non Swimmers 5 years +
5m Class for those that can swim a with unaided
10m Class for those that are happy to swim in deep water
Lengths
Rookie Lifeguard
8-14 year olds who may want to one day become a fully qualified lifeguard. The Rookie Course is a fun, practical
and interactive way to learn about water safety, first aid and how to deal with emergency situations. We teach the Rookies
how to look after themselves and others in and around the water.
All of the above classes cost £37.50 for 5 days, or £30 if the Monday is a Bank Holiday, and the course is therefore
4 days.
Coaching Clinics
We will also run a specialist Coaching Clinic. For children 11 years + who are competent swimmers, already swimming for
a club or thinking of joining a club. This is an ideal opportunity for children to have a taster of working with a coach and
interested in improving their technique on all four strokes. A highly qualified coach is invited in from a local swimming
club to take the children through their paces developing good practice on starts and turns and introducing training sets developed
for each child in the water. With only 6 children to one coach, this is an never seen before chance to really iron out any
creases in your child's swimming. 5 days x 1 hour session costs £60

During the School hoildays we also run National Pool Lifeguard Courses, for 16 years + that would like a Nationall recognised
qualifictation and would like to work in a Swimming Pool. £250 includes assessments, log book and RLSS membership
We also run STA Swimming Teacher Courses, lasting 5 days with a practical and theory exam at the end. £385 includes the
og book, STA membership all assessments.
